Exhibition Tutankhamun, Expo Liege

In this exhibition you walk in the footsteps of archaeologist Howard Carter and his fascinating quest for the tomb of Tutankhamun.
In 1922, in the Valley of the Kings, this English archaeologist and his patron, Lord Carnarvon, entered the tomb of Tutankhamun for the first time in over 3,000 years. The most mythical discovery in the history of archaeology was born.
You will also learn more about life during the reign of Tutankhamun, the death of the king and understand the fascination he still holds today.
The numerous antique objects on display, which are unique pieces from major European museums and prestigious private collections, illustrate the many facets of daily life during the 18th Egyptian dynasty (1550 to 1292 B.C.)
Object by object, the three burial chambers have been reconstructed with precision and historical reliability.
